Subhash Nagalla, MD is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.  He joined Mid Illini Surgical Associates in 2010.  He completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Weston, Florida. 

Prior to attending his Fellowship, he completed his internship and residency in general surgery at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in Flushing:  Affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.  He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine of Peoria, Illinois.

Dr. Nagalla is a specialist in minimally invasive bariatric and general surgery.  He offers consultations on weight management and the latest bariatric treatments including: Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Gastrectomy and Lap-Band®.

He is a member of the staff at Methodist Medical Center, Proctor Hospital and Pekin Hospital.

Dr. Nagalla and his wife reside in Peoria and have one daughter.  In his spare time he enjoys movies, traveling, and time with his family and friends.
