A specialist in vascular, endovascular and general surgery, Dr. Reid has been with Mid Illini Surgical Associates since 1999. Prior to joining the group, he served as Chief General Surgery Resident at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his fellowship in surgical and endovascular treatment of vascular and aneurysmal disease. Dr. Reid has served as a delegate of the American Medical Association and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Illinois State Medical Society. He received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (1993), where he also completed his internship, residency and fellowship. He is the past Chair of the Department of Surgery at Methodist Medical Center. Dr. Reid is currently a Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and is serving on Methodist Medical Center's board of directors.
