Dr. W. Scott Reid came to Peoria in 1999 to join Mid Illini Surgical Associates. He completed his medical degree, internship and residency at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He also completed a surgical Fellowship in traditional and minimally invasive endovascular diagnosis/treatment of arterial, venous and aneurismal diseases.

Dr. Reid received his Board of Surgery Certificate from the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.  He is also a Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.  He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine of Peoria, Illinois.

Dr. Reid is currently a member of the Medical Staff at Methodist Medical Center, OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Pekin, Proctor, Kewanee Hospital and Graham Hospital of Canton, Illinois.  Dr. Reid also serves on the Board of Directors for Methodist Medical Center of Peoria, Illinois.

Dr. Reid is a proud father of two children.  In their spare time they enjoy golfing, being a fan of Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs and the Fire Soccer Team.
